Privacy Policy
How Just Minister collects, uses, and protects the information volunteers share with us.
Just Minister (JustMinister.com) is an unofficial website run by Robert Bolar for the volunteers of the Ivins 3rd Ward Elders Quorum. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Schedule reminders: the name, mobile phone number, and email address that volunteers give us so we can send them reminders about their volunteer schedule assignments.
- Site forms: whatever you choose to enter in a form on this site (for example, a help request, volunteer offer, contact message, or gratitude note), such as your name, email, or phone number.
- Anonymous visit counts: the site counts page visits without cookies, names, IP addresses, or user agents. A random ID stored in your browser’s local storage resets each day so we can count daily visitors. Visits are not counted when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
How we use it
- Phone numbers and email addresses given for schedule reminders are used only to send those reminders (by text message and/or email) and to answer your replies.
- Submissions from site forms are emailed to Robert Bolar so he or the quorum presidency can respond. Help requests and gratitude notes may also be saved in a private database used only by site administrators.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information is handled only by the service providers needed to run the site and send messages (web hosting, email delivery, the database, and our text-message provider), and only for those purposes.
Cookies and third-party content
This site does not set cookies or use advertising trackers. Some pages embed a Google Calendar or a YouTube video (using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com player); those services have their own privacy policies. The Gratitude page fetches public weather data from Open-Meteo, which receives no personal information from us.
Opting out
To stop text-message reminders, reply STOP to any message. To stop email reminders, or to have your information removed, email Robert@OwnUtah.com.
Privacy of members
We do not post member directories, home addresses, ministering assignments, or photos of children on this site.
